| The Feed Mill manufactures a range of compound animal feeds formulated to suit several types of domestic livestock at different stages of development. The Feed Mill is also capable of producing special feeds to meet individual farmer’s specific livestock requirements. Barakat feeds are manufactured under the supervision of highly qualified personnel utilizing state of the art technology. The Quality Control Department continuously monitors the production to ensure that the feeds are within the specified standards. A team of technicians and a nutritionist offer help and advice to livestock owners during routine visits to their farms. Barakat, is available either in heavy-duty polypropylene bags or supplied in bulk. |

General Ruminant
Feeding Instructions: For feeding goats, sheep, cattle and camels. Feed milking cattle and camels 0.4kg/kg milk/day. Feed growing cattle and camels 1.0kg/50kg bodyweight
To a maximum of 4kg/day. Feed goats and sheep 1/3 rd kg/10 kg bodyweight up to 1 kg maximum. |

Calf Rearer
Feeding Instructions: For calves from weaning (3/5 weeks) to about 6 months. Allow up to 2 kg/day for small bodied breeds and up to 4 kg/day for largest breeds. Introduce good roughage at 2/3
months and at 6 months gradually change to a Dairy or Beef compound ration.
Provide clean, fresh water at all times. |

Beef Grower
Feeding Instructions: For growing or finishing beef animals from 6 months. Feed at 1 kg/50 kg body weight up to a maximum of 2.5 kg for small breeds or 4 kg for large breeds. Feed extra if the forage or appetite is poor. Ensure clean, fresh water is available at all times. |

Dairy 16 and Dairy 18
Feeding Instructions:
Dairy 16- Feed good quality roughage to maintenance. Allow 0.4 kg Dairy 16/kg milk/day. If roughage is limited or appetite is poor allow extra Dairy 16 to support maintenance. Provide clean fresh water at all times.
Dairy 18- Feed good quality roughage to maintenance. Allow 1/3rd kg Dairy 18/kg milk/day. If roughage is limited or appetite is poor allow extra Dairy 18 to support maintenance. Provide clean fresh water at all times. |

Sheep Cubes
Feeding Instructions: For imported and local sheep and goats as a maintenance diet. Feed 1/3rd kg/10 kg bodyweight / day up to 1 – 1.5 kg/day. Make forage available as a long fibre source. Ensure clean, fresh water is available at all times.

Racing Camel
Feeding Instructions: Camels in training feed a basal diet of 20 kg fresh lucerne and about 3 kg wheat bran, and supplement with 3/3.5 kg Racing Camel. Camels must not be overfed. Ensure that clean, fresh water is available.
Milking Camel
Feeding Instructions: For milking camels, Feed at the rate of 0.4kg/kgmilk/day.
Add up to 2 kgs extra if the forage or appetite is poor.
Ensure a clean, fresh supply of water.

Horse Cubes
Feeding Instructions: For growing and working horses. Ponies and light working horses; 1 kg Horse Cubes plus 1.5 kg hay/100 kg bodyweight. Riding Horses; 1.5 kg Horse Cubes plus 1.0 kg hay/100 kg bodyweight. Ensure that clean, fresh water is available all time.
